Both are deserving. I've been of the opinion that the team needed to catch up on some of the 1980's/early 1990s players and the Brazley induction checks that off.
I really love for Darrell K. Smith to get up there one day.

Well deserved on both counts.

Can't argue with either one.

It would be hard to pick two more deserving candidates. Both longtime Argos, perennial all-stars and fan favourites. Of all the players I've cheered for over the past six decades, Carl Brazley is still my all-time fave.

I swear I saw Eiben on the sidelines donned in Argos sideline gear Saturday in Ottawa.

I'm going slightly off-topic here with respect to considering other candidates. Steinauer is probably worthy of this list, but there's little chance he gets inducted while he's still affiliated with the Tiger-Cats, right? Mind you, the Argos did induct Mike O'Shea in 2015 while he was coaching the Blue Bombers.

A couple of years ago at TC, a couple of us were chatting with Pinball, and we mentioned how much we love Brazely as a player. Pinball pulled out his phone and called Brazely to allow us to chat with him, but got his voice mail. It was a Sunday and Pinner said, he's probably in church.
Brazely was awesome!!

Although he had a stellar playing career with the Argos, he wouldn't be as high on my list as some other guys, DK Smith to name one. And his Hamilton connection is "worse" than O'Shea's connection to Wpg simply because of the rivalry.

I still cannot fathom why Darrell K. Smith isn't still up on the banner and hasn't been named to the Canadian Football Hall of Fame. If there's a Mount Rushmore of Argo receivers then he is on it with Terry Greer, Paul Masotti and Derrell Mitchell who are all inductees on the all-Argos banner.
The other 1980's/early 1990's name they need to catch up on is Reggie Pleasant. I think he still holds the team record for most interceptions? I also consider Harold Hallman to have a case as well.

Sadly, I believe DK's descent into an unsavoury lifestyle after football has been held against him by H of F voters. He had some well-publicized run-ins with the law, drugs, etc., but by reliable accounts cleaned up his act before he died. I've got a pile of data showing he's extremely comparable, stats-wise, to Greer, Fernandez and David Williams, all of whom (belatedly) got inducted into the Hall. His candidacy is definitely worthy and overdue for both honours.
