I presume that McFadden is back because:

(i) Jonathan Edouard suffered a pretty gruesome injury on Saturday;
(ii) Maybe the Argos figured out that they don't want to go with 2 1st year CBs in Franklin and Johnson;
(iii) Adeleke (or maybe McFadden) will play SAM.

I presume Bell is back because:

(i) Brinkman went down to what looks like may be a significant injury;
(ii) Ceresna is banged up;
(iii) Jordan Williams is also hurt.

Argos announced today that they have re-signed Tavarus McFadden. They got pretty banged up on the secondary on Saturday potentially losing Priester and Eduard who were both starting. Hoping Adeleke and McDadden can just jump in as plug and play as both can play either corner or SAM.

Also brought back was DT Atlias Bell who was cut June 1. That tells me Brinkman will out long term.

Sure looked like Brinkman injured his Achilles by the way he reacted when the trainers bent his foot towards him on Saturday. A big loss if that is it.

According to the injury report, it is an ankle injury for Brinkman.

Yeah. It sure looked like he was in a lot of pain. I can’t see him being back without missing at least 6 games

I agree, although I remain hopeful that he will return at some point this season.

I'm a fan of McFadden and so I'm very happy he's back!
