Can't believe he isn't getting real chances with the NFL, but I guess I should not be surprised. It's odd though because each time he is picked up by an NFL team, you hear coaches saying positive things about him!

Can you imagine if BC had both Vernon Adams and Nathan Rourke as quarterbacks?? No other team in the CFL would have a chance against them, especially this season!!

I doubt Rourke will be back this year as he will try to exhaust all NFL avenues. Look for Hamilton to wine and dine him in the offseason.

Rourke is a very good QB. Likely the best in the CFL, and could be top 20 on planet like Farhan says.
However, the 2024 BC Lions are not as good as the 2022 Lions. In 2022 the Lions were paying Rourke $100K. There was alot of cap room spread around to all the other position groups.
We'll see how he bounces back against Ottawa on Saturday. I don't believe he forgot how good the CFL is, but if hasn't thought about for awhile it's front and centre for him now.
