So let me get this straight: CFL fans - Argo fans, mocking the Honey Badgers and by extension the CEBL. Think about that.

The Argos are in what is considered by many to be second-rate football league (not by any of us, of course, but by many).
They play in a smaller, all-Canadian league that often gets overlooked by the larger, shinier American counterpart.
The CEBL sucks and it's only the Raptors that matter because they play in the NBA?? You see where I'm going with this?
You as Argo fans and loyal CFL fans, should see the hypocrisy in taking jabs at a smaller All-Canadian professional sports league.
There's plenty you guys like to mock Hamilton about (you're wrong about all of it, BTW, but still..). Leave the upstart Canadian league alone.

By the way, you should go check it out in Brampton, next year. It's better then you think.
I am more of an NBLC fan and London Lightning fan. Thanks.

Bo comments on his three year deal with Hamilton below:

“I am excited and honoured for the opportunity to help deliver a championship to the incredible fans in Hamilton” Said Mitchell. “This is an excellent organization that goes above and beyond to ensure that everyone has what they need to be successful and I have the utmost faith in Coach O, his staff and all the elite players on the roster. I look forward to earning my place in the locker room and being a part of something that I believe can be very special. I can’t wait to get to work.”

They have reportedly lost Jovan Santos-Knox to Ottawa though, which is a big blow to the Ticats.

Is it though? Hamilton’s D gave up 4th quarter leads on a regular basis the past couple seasons. Santos Knox had a nice tackle total but I thought he was the 3rd best MLB in the EFC last season. He isn’t an upgrade over Avery Williams.

To be fair, most of Hamilton’s blown leads last year were due to the offence turning over the ball.

Looking at the current pending free agent list, Hamilton has re-signed only 5 of their potential free agents, and that includes BLM who wasn’t even with them last year. Are they moving on from a majority of their old guard that has been with them for so long like Ted Laurent and our favourite mouth piece Simoni?

Maybe the Ti-Cats move to bring in former BLM targets like Eric Roger, Juwan Brescacin and Kamar Jordan. Tim White apparently is looking for well north of 200k per year. Dreaming in my opinion.

2022, Brandon Banks joins the Argonauts and wins a Grey Cup after several Grey Cup failures with Hamilton, could 2023 be Simoni’s year to follow suit?

Sayles is a good player with potential but $200k seems steep at this point in his career.

They’re nuts for letting Wes Hills go to bring in Butler. Butler had a good year, but his production really dropped when Rourkemwent down. He was not very good in 2021 IMO.

It also seems that Tommy Condell never quite knows how to use these "star" running backs that Hamilton brings into town. See: Jackson, Don.

Well Jackson was good in 2021, arguably a key player in the Eastern final victory. Condell certainly had a lot of finger pointing going his way on the call in shows after Ti-Cats losses last year (oh were those fun to listen to). Honestly, I am surprised his services were retained this year since Evans wasn’t able to take th next step at QB.

Condell is a same old, myopic clown IMO - but let's see how he does with Bo at QB and a maybe iffy O-Line; as far as Don Jackson being a "star" RB - he's had a couple of games where he was pretty explosive in the CFL; but check his yards/carry average over the past few seasons - twice well below 5 per - which is very CFL sub-par.

Butler & Hills are quite different style backs; Butler has proven more and looked very good at times, but also pretty average; Hills was impressive as a solid power back when he got in for the Pussycats last season.

I agree in regards to Wills, straight ahead runner who seemed to gain significant yards every time he touched the ball.
