Hamilton has re-signed American rookie LB Kyle Wilson for 2023-24 but have three other LBs entering free agency: Simoni Lawrence, Jovan Santos-Knox and Kam Kelly.

This may not be a popular opinion in Hamilton but it may be time to move on from Simoni. He looked much less effective this past season.

I figured Bo would sign in Regina but after the Gong Show of an OC search for the Riders, I now grudgingly see Mitchell signing in Hamilton but not faring very well.

That would seem to favour Regina and make Toronto least favourite (although one could argue the true blue remaining Argo fans having gone through so much are the most loyal and passionate). Maybe Hamilton, in its efforts to recruit him, will show him Ticat/Argos Labour Day games in Hamilton to convince him the city meets his definition of fans who "fill the stands and get upset when they lose".

I do too. They would look really bad trading assets for him and not get him signed. I believe they will overpay him to get his name on a contract, but it might turn out to be the right move.

Yeah - interesting and i do hope he goes to the Pussycats, and they over-pay him plenty ;o)

The East is full of question marks for next season: new HCs in Montreal & Ottawa; who will be QB for the Argos; the Ticats betting on Bovine as their savior is a bit of a long-shot IMO

I couldn't help but notice a few jabs at the Honey Badgers throughout these forums.

So let me get this straight: CFL fans - Argo fans, mocking the Honey Badgers and by extension the CEBL. Think about that.

The Argos are in what is considered by many to be second-rate football league (not by any of us, of course, but by many).
They play in a smaller, all-Canadian league that often gets overlooked by the larger, shinier American counterpart.
The CEBL sucks and it's only the Raptors that matter because they play in the NBA?? You see where I'm going with this?
You as Argo fans and loyal CFL fans, should see the hypocrisy in taking jabs at a smaller All-Canadian professional sports league.
There's plenty you guys like to mock Hamilton about (you're wrong about all of it, BTW, but still..). Leave the upstart Canadian league alone.

By the way, you should go check it out in Brampton, next year. It's better then you think.

They have reportedly lost Jovan Santos-Knox to Ottawa though, which is a big blow to the Ticats.

Is it though? Hamilton’s D gave up 4th quarter leads on a regular basis the past couple seasons. Santos Knox had a nice tackle total but I thought he was the 3rd best MLB in the EFC last season. He isn’t an upgrade over Avery Williams.
