A lot of the blame also goes to Trestman.

Best coach in the CFL, so glad that we have him!
Could you imagine what it'd be like to have every move we make under the microscope? Why did you choose to go straight into traffic when you should've exited off. Not excusing Trestman for some of the bad decisions but it happens. I think everything is open for discussion/criticism when it comes to post game analysis but harping on this might be getting old.
I quickly glanced at the title and honestly initially thought the title was "macspectrum act getting old?"
No.
Exactly, Trestman represents our team very well.
Just a few months ago he won the Grey Cup and I can guarantee he hasn’t become stupid since that win.
Some major (unavoidable) coaching changes (Chamblin), mix in some key players leaving (Posey, Murray, Butler) add injuries to Ricky Ray and Bear Woods and here we sit.
The offence has struggled at times this season but I maintain the biggest drop off his season has been the performance of the D which I mainly hang on Archer.
Toronto Argonauts
18 Time World Champions
We are infinitely blessed to have him in Toronto.
We had no business winning the Grey Cup last year but somehow HE pulled that rabbit out of the hat. Ask the players and they will all point back to him as the man who set the tone for that long-shot ever even happening.
Rightfully, it should have taken Popp and the Professor years to achieve that.
Ask Calgary fans how they feel.
I think sports fans are nuts sometimes.
The 'what have you done for me lately' motif is usually based on irrational emotion or exceptional shortsightedness.
Hustle hit and never quit
A lot of people also thought Milanovich was the guy to continue leading this team as well; some would still probably love to see him back...
All coaches have a shelf life; Trestman may not have hit his yet, but outside of Montreal his average is 2 years.
making the decision to kick a fg on 2nd down in o/t
is akin to
every move we make under the microscope?
really ?
i know there are trestman fans here, but i think argos were lucky for the weather that helped equalize the teams
and calgary was arrogant gun slingers in that last drive
i am very happy argos won and i cried tears of joy as i had no expectation argos would win
.....
i was hoping that w/ an off season under the belt of of popp and trestman that the argos could build a dynasty [like edmonton did in winning 5 gc in a row]
that dynasty would help bring fans back and make argos relevant as a pro team in the city
i watched the east final at skydome when candy was owner - great attendance
i watch on youtube the 100th gc played at skydome - great attendance
So now we're back to the Argos winning 5 Grey Cups in a row ?
Wow. I never knew the Argos played against two teams -- the Vikings AND the Bears -- in a December, 2013 game.
