No field goal attempts this year just touchdowns and go for it on 3rd downs with an overpowering offence.

Rene Paredes was NOT drafted by any of the CFL super-expert "scouts - just FYI; good thing for the Stamps he got a FA look.

Interesting how you stat cherry-picked Decloux's weak FG % last season, but chose to over-look his good previous seasons (over 80% & over 76%) ?

Ray better have rebuilt his arm into a howitzer or else it'll likely fall off following this strategy.

The contingency is probably what most pro teams do when they need a new kicker mid-season: bring in 2-3 free agents, work them out, and sign the one you like best.

Shouldn't he be getting better, not worse as his college career progressed? He was also only 60% on kicks over 30 yards (4-6 from 30-39 and 2-4 from 40-49). Also missed 2 converts (which are still 19 yard kicks in NCAA).

If he was an American with those stats and got a TC invite, you'd be all over it. Besides that, I am confident that Lirim Hajrullahu just had an off year, and will be a great kicker for many years to come. I, along with SnowRogue, wanted the Argos to get him, and they did.

Only it was there starting kicker that blew it when it mattered, so really in the end, it had no effect on the team.

Hopefully Paul McCallum will still be available if we need him. His kickoffs may be a bit shorter than we would like but his punting and field goals were still good.

His punting was pretty much gone; didn't kick off the last couple of years either, and struggled to kick a fg beyond 40 yards. McCallum made the right decision to retire.

I plan on getting there around 9am on Sunday. Back to back practices starting at 7:30 and ending around 11:30.
