I'm an Argos fan on the West Coast and I will be at this game. Really hoping to see a win!

But the Argos now have film on Brice, which is nice.
Not really. They have film on him running a game plan made for Rourke. I highly doubt it will be the same game plan this week
We will see what happens but the Lions themselves don't seem to have much confidence in Brice.

On the BC Global news tonight they did a feature on the Lions. They said that Rourke is likely out a couple of weeks so the Argos won't likely see him.
What is a bit concerning is that both of the backup QBs to Brice (Tyrie Adams and Salter) can run the football and the Argos weren't exactly great against Hamilton at containing the QB.
I suspect if Brice falters that we will see Adams as he has the most experience.

No chance Adams who just signed this week gets in before Salter. I think you might see a package for Salter at some point.

The Argos won't be seeing Dejon Allen this week as he has been released by BC.

Shepley and Hajrullahu are out along with Miller, Haggerty and obviously Chatfield. Judge is doubtful, Grant is available. Another big test for the o-line.

Look for TC cut Josh Donovan to take his place.

I am somewhat surprised that Hajrullahu is out. I have no objection to it. I would like to see what Lidster can do, and just hope he is up to the task. Can't afford to lose another game due to kicking. As I have said, I had reservations about a player, even and established kicker, not being at practice because he has another job. If he's kicking well, I'm sure nobody would say anything, but the way he's been kicking, it can't be going over well with the guys that are there every day. Not a good look.

Lirim missed all three practices this week for "non-injury reasons." It's possible it's because of commitments to his non-football career, but I can't help wondering if he's taking a leave of absence to sort out his mental health. The death of his longtime kicking coach might really be weighing on him. I'm happy to give him the benefit of the doubt after all he has done for this team, but that said, sometimes the torch has to be passed to a younger player. Here's hoping Lidster has a great game and gives this team a good option.

I think there's something else going on with him as well, Paul. I suspect there's a personal issue of some kind - maybe rhe death of his kicking coach or that and something else - that's been weighing on him since training camp. Hopefully some time away will do him good.
