BTW, did I hear correctly , our esteemed announcers tonight, talk about the only other receiver to gain 1000 yds in 8 games(in 1983), being someone called Terry Green. Perhaps it was my hearing but it sure sounded like they were calling Terry Greer by another name.
OMFG. I can confirm he said "Green." That's completely inexcusable.

I expected better from Dusty. I thought he was a long time fan of THE CFL. It's way before my time but I know the Great Names from all teams..
Etchevery
Parker
Kwong
Mosca
Bright
Rote
Ploen
Reed
Forzani

And on and on...

Greer is a great. He was reading off of a sheet produced for him clearly and didn't know what he was reading, and know it was a mistake.

Probably making too big a deal about it, but on Ottawa legends night, we need to do a better job passing the torch.

I can see how someone might have typed or handwritten Green instead of Greer, but for the lead announcer on the CFL's exclusive broadcaster not to recognize that it/he was mistaken about one of the legends is almost unbelievable. Imagine if Jim Nantz were to talk on CBS about an NFL receiving record held by Jimmy Rice.

Unfortunately when it comes to TSN’s telecasts nothing surprises me.

I doubt Luke has a clue who Terry Greer is.

I bet Glen Suitor knows who Terry Greer is. Just saying.
