Just win baby.
Re: Game Thread: Calgary Stampeders @ Toronto Argonauts
From what I understand, Arbuckle and Scott split reps in practice today as Dukes has been listed as a limited participant in practice this week. I assume Arbuckle starts with Scott as number 2 this week.
Re: Game Thread: Calgary Stampeders @ Toronto Argonauts
I saw that as well.
Sopik was a full participant today, which is good news, but his status is still listed as questionable.

Depth chart is out.
Arbuckle to start.
Dukes GTD but listed as #2
Calver to FB
Adeleke backing up Priester
Darkangelo in, Milton out.
Vandal to start at RG for MacKellar.
I think I got it all.

Re: Game Thread: Calgary Stampeders @ Toronto Argonauts
Be interesting to see how Vandal does - similar resume to MacKellar in that he was a several time Conference all-star at OT in U Sports ball; can he make it as a good guard though ? Giffen has more CFL experience but maybe he is not ready and Vandal has been dressed all-season as a back-up, so maybe more in tune with the offence now.
Hope Adeleke does not just sit on the bench or play STs only; this D needs way more play-making.
And we'll see if Dinwiddie learned anything from last game and his supposed lesson about the need for more ground game - I'll believe it when i see it; and Arbuckle at QB presents nothing close to the run threat, so the Stamps D might be able to tighten up against the run more.

OMG, was that actually the Argos offence? The offence on the first drive actually looks like a bona fide offence. Let's hope they can keep it up.

Re: Game Thread: Calgary Stampeders @ Toronto Argonauts
So the Argos kick off, and Calgary marches right down the field and scores. What on earth was Pierce doing on that long pass? He had no idea where the ball was. And those short screen type passes....Argos have been getting killed on them all season and just can't seem to stop them. Hopefully the defence can buckle down.

Defense is garbage. D line cannot get anywhere near Maier. Puny DBs getting locked up downfield by the receivers.
I don't think Arbuckle's doing a bad job, but the O-line isn't exactly keeping him clean and Carey and the receivers are dropping balls.
