Overall, a good performance by the Double Blue, putting us in the driver's seat for second place. It was great to see Lirim back in the line-up and performing at his usual high standard. I thought the special teams unit did a great job on kick/punt return coverage. The only aspect of the game that concerned me was that we allowed Hamilton to stick around long enough to still be in the game up until our final TD drive. It seemed like every time we got a comfortable lead, Hamilton was able to come back, moving the ball down the field fairly easily. Kudos to the defence for coming up with those turnovers.

Did Davis & Milt really say that they would sit Kelly on the half time show? Is that nonsense scripted for drama?

I thought Milt said something about benching Kelly because of the interceptions.

I got nervous when the Tiger-Cats made it 30-22, but credit to Chad and the offense for driving down field and putting Hamilton away.

Can we talk about the Argos defence a little? No defence will ever be perfect and this one isn't, but they have been playing superb football for the past 6 weeks now and seem to be getting stronger and stronger, despite some key injuries. Defensive coordinator Greg Quick has shown an ability to make necessary adjustments as can be seen with how well they defended Tre Ford the past two games against Hamilton. They're getting pressure with their front 4 and throwing in the odd blitz here and there. The DBs are playing well, also. Let's give some kudos to Quick and the defence as we haven't been talking nearly enough about their improved play.

He responded to the interception by leading two TD drives to end the half, including a drive that started at his own 5. I'm not sure what they were trying to get at.

Kelly defies modern-day expectations in the CFL. Back in the 1980s and 1990s, throwing interceptions wasn't the faux pas that it is today. Kelly's TD:INT ratio this year isn't unlike Matt Dunigan's during his career. Kelly is a throwback to the high risk, high reward CFL QBs that we liked back then.

Any win in Hamilton is satisfying but a win on Labour Day is especially sweet. The team has done an excellent job at finding new talent that has proved to be a real asset. Among the rookies, Kahmann could reach a 1,000 yards and Ceasar has been a very positive surprise. On the whole, Pinball and company have done an excellent job of recruiting new talent

Their comments were almost as stupid as the Straight Fire segment.

The D is light years better than what we witnessed last season, agree with your assessment of the O.
