More CFL experienced QBs like Dolegala and Cornelius are out there; i doubt many CFL teams are going to be interested in Scott, with no real CFL playing time and an ultra limited US college ball resume.

Normally I would agree with you OV but Shea Patterson bombed down south in the those league's and got a chance up here.

Patterson played at a big Div I program, plus had NFL looks and a look with another CFL team before ending up with the Riders; that is entirely different than Scott's Div III resume with no other pro roster experience before the Argos brought him to TC.

The Argos signing both Scott (Div III) and Dukes (NAIA ball) as the main back-up QB competition for TC is off the charts mind-boggling in terms of limited or weak QB resumes for one CFL team / TC. And I like Dukes as a good young QB talent after seeing him play in the CFL.

Which makes a 5-4 record to this point all the more startling. Normally a 5-4 record in the East Division puts you solidly in 2nd place if not first. Looking forward to tomorrow evening.

I can’t recall so many people upset over a 3rd, now 4th string QB being released. Nice to have passionate fans I guess. I get he was a nice guy, but it’s pro sports. Argos will be just fine without Scott. I don’t see any team signing him anytime soon with their own prospects to look at and NFL dreams ending for other QB’s very soon.

Adarius Pickett who seems to hate everything Argos these days took to twitter to say that Scott is a starting QB and brings up his 5-5 performance in garbage time against the Als earlier this season. Get real. I personally would have liked to see what he can do, but don’t overdo it.
I really hope the Argos win the Grey Cup this year. That would mean the team Pickett left in free agency will have won the championship 2 years in a row. I will have fun chirping him if that happens.
