I see on fb Hamilton fans are planning to protest Kelly with signs, etc. I wonder what effect that might have?
Should be entertaining reading all the spelling mistakes on those signs.
Crayon sales are drastically up in the Hammer this week.

Kelly has to be aware and show restraint. There will be many drunken Hamilton fans in the stadium trying to give Ambrosie a reason to get Kelly banned from the league. Hopefully security will be removing fans who cross the line Monday.

RB957 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 28, 2024 2:38 pm I don't know what to think going into this game. By record, and on paper, Argos are the better team. Ti-Cats have been a hot mess all season, BUT, it's Labour Day in Hamilton. Bringing back Chris Jones resulted in better performance by their defense last game, and they have already beaten us once at TMH.

Bottom line, I believe we win this one, but it won't be easy. Expect a lot of nastiness, especially with the return of Chad Kelly.
Was their defence good last game, or was the Bombers offence down 2 O-lineman just bad?
I think the Argos are going to lay the boots to the Ti-Cats on Monday.
Winnipeg has struggled on offense most of the season, but yet Chris Jones is suddenly the Second Coming as a DC according to many who cover the CFL. Hamilton doesn't have the talent on either side of the ball hence 2-9.
Angelo, you make a good point. What I was trying to get across was that compared to earlier games that I have watched, their defense played better IMO, but it's true that would be a low bar considering. By no means do I consider Chris Jones the Second Coming of anything. He's had success, but his recent track record is the biggest reason he was out of a job.

I hope our guys stay disciplined and that we play within the lines. We certainly have the talent to win, but anything can (and likely may) happen. It's the CFL!!

I wasn't questioning your post. It might have been a little of both--good defence and not so good offence. It's too bad for them, the tables turned on the last drive.

I don't ever recall Kelly losing focus on the field and he is no stranger to this type of situation. I wouldn't worry about that.

What about the Eastern Final last year? - didn't seem very focussed to me during that game. Hamilton fans are the worst at the bests of times, so I'm sure the Argo players are used to it by now.

I'd chalk that up to an extreme circumstance caused by whatever the hell was going on with the team at that time.
