CFL refs just do not understand PI enough IMO; still see plenty of blatant screening where a DB does not look for the ball but gets in a receiver's face with some contact, but no call.
I agree, OV, but also knew that was never going to be overturned by Command.

Dinwiddie should not have thrown a challenge flag in the first minute without at least hearing from the coaches upstairs. When we saw the replay, it became obvious (to me, at least) that the call was not going to be overturned.

First place is now out of reach, and second place will be all but out of reach if Argos don't win in Ottawa on Saturday.

Yes I thought the same thing (so did Duane Ford) that it actually wasn't PI when they showed the replay, so it wouldn't be overturned. The Argos are going to have to play much, much better if they have any hope of beating Ottawa next week. Ottawa has shown alot of heart this year and a real desire to win - so I think they will give the Argos a run for their money when the teams meet over the next few weeks. The whole Argo game has to improve considerably if they want to have any hope of making the playoffs this year and being competitive in the post-season!!!!

Dinwiddie acted impulsively in throwing the challenge flag which turned out to be a foolish move.
At this time I don’t know what to make of this Argo team, no surprise that the level of talent on the defensive side of the ball took a huge hit this past off season which we witnessed today.
The D managed to make Milanovich’s O look almost unstoppable which in itself is staggering, Eiben and Fields need to step up their game planning the rest of the way or this team will make an early playoff exit.

There are reasons for concern on the one hand, but on the other you think this is typical Labour Day "magic" that always goes in Hamilton's favour.

I guess the “Labour Day Magic” also applied for the Argos losing to Hamilton on July 20th.
The coaching staff and players should be embarrassed losing the season series to those stiffs IMO.

I don't buy into any magic. You're either ready to play or not and the Argos haven't been ready from the start of either of these games in Hamilton. I don't know how they lost in Calgary either.

Argos 3 and 10 over the past 13 Labour Day games...says it all.
