Game Thread: Tiger-Cats at Argonauts

Another crucial game, IMO.

Argos obviously cannot take Ticats lightly (see the last two games against them), and Hamilton's defense has been playing better over previous weeks, and I don't think BLM is turning the ball over as frequently as earlier in the season. I'm hoping the fact that the game is at BMO makes a difference.

I think the Argos will be all business this week. I really expect them to finish strong,

As I recall, you had the same sentiment when the Argos went into Montreal and were the first team to beat them.

I like your thinking!!

But seriously, if our D plays as well as it did in B.C. and Chad Kelly plays like we know he can, this game will be ours.

Although the season series has been lost, I hope that our boys want to avenge the two losses in the Hammer.

Should be a great game.

With the likely return of McManis and Brinkman and the continued development of Kelly in the offense, things are looking good to exact some revenge on the Ticats. With Grant's injury, it looks like McMahon will be taking on his duties, so he may not feature as much on offense this week.

I’m good with less McMahon on offence. I really want to see more of Adeboboye.

Let's see what "Defensive Consultant " Chris Jones can do against an offense that is gaining traction. This game shouldn't even be close.

Here is the depth chart for tomorrow:

1 McManis and Brinkman return to the lineup. Has Blackburn been on the PR for the last few games? He's there and Adeleke and Exume are CDN backups in the secondary.

2. Grant is out, but only on the 1-game, and McMahon will handle primary return duties. This slightly concerns me as he's been known to fumble the past few games.

3. Was hoping Brissett would be good to go, but yup, full participant in practice does not necessarily mean they're good to go.

Dinwiddie addressed this in his availability on Tuesday. Said with the leg injury and because of the position he plays, wanted to give him another week.

Yes, that is what he said. Looks like a similar sized crowd to last game against the Riders. So much for the Boycott of Kelly.
