Despite the loss. That was an entertaining game to attend. A great turn out, but a lot of people left at halftime. The row in front of me was full but after the first half only 3 people were in that row.

They did have that great goal line stand but other than that, the defense let us down most of the game and at the end where it mattered the most. Ticats are still very much alive, big opportunity missed to knock them out

On the third down conversion with 19 seconds left, it appears as though there was a miscommunication between McManis and Priester as neither took Butler and you can see an animated conversation between the two after the play. Priester had gone back to SAM after the injury to Mauger a couple of plays earlier. Anyway, these are the kinds of mistakes that have to be eliminated.

I haven’t seen the field in such bad shape since they installed the hybrid system 5 years ago. It was torn up before the game even started. Both teams had to play on it, but it was bad! It looked like the grounds crew tried to over compensate for the really dry, late summer weather we have had by over watering. I don’t think it worked!

Rogers fired the grounds crew as its first official act as owner.

Butler was almost certainly Priester's responsibility, but the same play (or a slight variation thereof) was open for Hamilton all night. It's almost like the DCs were so determined not to give up the deep ball (as they did on Labour Day) that they overcompensated by dropping everyone off. Pass coverage has been quite a shambles this year, and last night the d-line got dominated by Hamilton's o-line. Can't win when you can't pressure the QB and can't cover the receivers. To make matters worse, there was a report last night that Hamilton is likely gonna extend Jamal Peters' contract, so there goes one potential avenue for improvement this off-season.

There must have been 500 young kids on the field at half time doing that massive dance show, and although that probably sells another 1,000 tickets to all the parents, I bet a lot of them didn't stick around past halftime.

This isn't the same Ticats team that started the season 0-5. That said, being swept by them in the seasons series definitely hurts and has practical implications for the Argos. The turning point to me seemed to be the Coxie drop followed by a punt that took a Hamilton bounce resulting in a no-yards penalty.

Completely unrelated, but someone posted a 20-minute clip of a 1998 game between BC and the Argos, and you could hear the Argonotes featured prominently.

It was infuriating watching the Argonaut D last night, Eiben and the crew were completely outclassed by Milanovich which in itself is very concerning.
I wasn’t a big fan of the co-defensive coordinator setup when it was announced and am even less so right now.

thanks - I'll look for that. We eventually figured out where TSN had installed their crowd mics at Skydome and it was always fun wandering over to one of those spots and blasting something out.
