CFL.CA transactions show the Argos signing 4 on Defense...2 DBs, a LB and DL....all from small schools, all added to the PR.

What do you mean? You don't consider Ithaca College to be a big school.

Willie Drew could be an interesting signing. He was on the Argo Neg list so the team must have looked into his potential. He was invited to the Senior Bowl, Shrine Bowl and the NFL Combine. Reasonable size and good speed. but only time will tell if he is a fir for CFL football.

CFL.ca transactions indicate that on October 11 the Argos signed QB Tucker Horne out of Trinity College to a Futures Contract.
His Bio states that his favorite golfers are "Tiger" Woods and Phil Mickleson.

The question I have is can the Argos sign a QB with a higher level of competition than Division 3 or NAIA?

I'm sure they will if one impresses them. Current Argo braintrust has been pretty good with personnel decisions, and we're definitely not in need of a #1 QB.
