I am not sure where the accolades will land for this one. Kelly certainly played well, as did the Argo receivers. The defence finally showed up in the second half for the most part. On to Montreal!

Dru Brown with 476 passing yards. This D has huge issues that might continue to be a big problem against the Als.

And the Als superior secondary and way smarter D coaching is not going to give up wide-open bombs for Kelly all game = see last year's East Final.

DBs decided it's someone else's job to play defense today. D-line being handled soundly. They will be sucking wind halfway through the third, and the rout will be on.

Good thing i suck at predictions.

If anyone had told you before the game that Ottawa would score 38, you'd've hung your head and cried.

Brown, his Oline, and receivers had a very good day. Ottawa should be very proud of them putting up a fight like that. Compare Brown's first playoff start against Kelly's first (in 2023) and you see the guy has a good trajectory. Ottawa fans should be proud.

I don't know if the Toronto offense was especially good or if the Ottawa defense was especially bad. Toronto offense was scoring at will, but we were still down. I think the turning point was when the offense started to play defense. Rather than go for the home run and spend only 30 seconds on the field, the offense started taking their time, putting long drives together, and eating up the clock. That's what knocked to Ottawa offense out of their rhythm a bit and gave the defense a breather. I think that was the turning point.

Defense needs to tighten up and reassess. I'm very nervous about Amos' late injury. What a shame to happen in garbage time. Walking off the field was encouraging, let's hope he's OK.

Chad kelly looks........... scary! The guy was all cocky at this time last year.... he doesn't look that way. He looks like Ricky ray. He's the ice man. He's got no emotions. If I'm an opposing defensive coordinator right now, I'm chugging pepto.

Piss-poor lack of adjustment by the Argo D to the Ottawa spread offence.

Time of possession and Brown's passing yardage are an embarassment to the co- DCs.

Need to blitz more, more man coverage and make personnel adjustments (like get an extra DB in for Darkangelo who can't do much in coverage).

Fortunately, they made some excellent halftime adjustments.
