Had Mace been coaching Ottawa on Saturday would you have been more worried about the outcome? I do like Mace. I think he was a great DC here for 2 years.

Impossible to say. I think Mace is a good coach, just not ready to anoint him as a real difference maker yet.

Ottawas defence would have been better because he would likely be the DC as well. Dyce is a good guy, but Mace is a coach. He never has that deer in the headlights look. Ottawa made the wrong choice 2 years ago.

Going with Riders today.... but I think its a coin toss.... Nice to see AJ have a good game last week. Bombers remind me of the 80's New York Islanders.... They have forgotten how to lose... Should get good TV ratings but too bad it has to go up against Hockey ... I would think out west this is bigger than Hockey... which says something about our league.... should be great day for CFL football....

Yes Ian football is bigger than hockey: it's a strange truth that the Bombers have consistently great and well-earned support, and the Jets are #1 in the NHL this season, yet NOT selling out their hockey arena (like most arenas < 20,000 seats)...go figure.

They could not.
Would've been nice to play a new team in the Grey Cup, but oh well.

Not sure about bigger than hockey but at least close there (the Jets could play 3 games in a week in a home-stand and how many tickets do they sell?). Compare that to Ottawa & Toronto, or Calgary & Edmonton where the CFL is considered minor league by most of the populace., and they can't sell as many CFL tickets with way bigger demographic to work with.

Peg should be proud of their support for the CFL
