111TH GREY CUP THREAD - BOMBERS @ ARGOS
Ask, and you shall receive. How many points will the Argos win by?
Former Argo training camp player - L'Hulk Incroyable himself Mr. Lou Ferrigno starts us off with a 4 point bulge.

I’m going to stick with what I did for the eastern final and not make a prediction. Can’t wait for Sunday!!

Will, in a post on another thread, you said that you would go through a brick wall for Ryan Dinwiddie right now. Well, judging by the emotion in the Argos locker room in the video you shared, I would say that every player in the room feels the same way. They will do whatever it takes to win, and hopefully they do, but regardless we should be very proud of this team for its perseverence and grit. Early odds have the Blue Bombers as heavy favourites, which is okay by me.Will wrote: ↑Mon Nov 11, 2024 8:17 pm https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YC9oeBr ... oArgonauts
We gotta finish the job, let's finish it!
There are so many good stories regarding the Argos journey to this point, but the guy I am cheering most for right now is Nick Arbuckle. Six year vet, bounced around 4 different teams, was considered by many to be washed up, and even pondered retirement until he got picked up just before TC due to Kelly's suspension. And now he gets a shot to win a national championship. Every kid playing sports dreams and wishes for having such an opportunity, and I hope he makes this a true Cinderalla story. Reminds me of 2012 when Chad Kackert came out of nowhere to replace Cory Boyd and became MVP of the Grey Cup.
Go Argos!

More details to come!
The CFLFFC is a grassroots group of community-minded Canadian Football League fans who want to support the fight against cancer. Established in 2005, CFLFFC started as a direct result of Hamilton Tiger-Cats coach Ron Lancaster’s cancer diagnosis. Everyone involved with the CFLFFC volunteers their time to raise cancer awareness. The CFLFFC raises money for local cancer charities and organizations through 50/50 draws, raffles, silent auctions, BBQ’s and event pledging. The annual Grey Cup “Meet & Greet” is the CFLFFC’s largest event. Fans from across the nation gather together for an afternoon of prizing, entertainment, and socializing.

I believe Arbuckle has what it takes to lead the Argos to victory and ascend to the status of legend.

He has a lot to prove and everyone loves a good redemption story. As long as he doesn’t turn the ball over, the Argos will win.IssuesMcgee wrote: ↑Wed Nov 13, 2024 7:20 pm I believe Arbuckle has what it takes to lead the Argos to victory and ascend to the status of legend.

Not sure Marcus Crandell ever ascended to "legend" status.IssuesMcgee wrote: ↑Wed Nov 13, 2024 7:20 pm I believe Arbuckle has what it takes to lead the Argos to victory and ascend to the status of legend.

With the obvious exception of #12, we're relatively healthy.
Bombers' Nic Demski having a banged up ankle could be big news. I was expecting him to be a key to their plan for Sunday.

There are still LOTS of tickets available for the game, which I found a bit surprising, and disheartening to be honest. It looks like some sections in the upper bowl are half empty. Sheesh.
