Polk has signed with Atlanta, apparently.
Where Austin Mack signed last off-season.
Will he have any better luck than Mack? Who knows?
Maybe, it's a foot in the door at least so who knows.
I don't watch as much NFL football as I used to, but from what I see now, if there's one position group where a lot of CFL talent could easily play there, it's receiver. A few superstar receivers on a bunch of teams aside, there's a lot of mediocres who drop lots of passes who get to play down there. But the NFL super-experts are more ignorant and dismissive of top CFL talent than ever. Polk will be up against draft picks or known free agent signings who will be so higher rated for TC competition; pure talent doens't really matter. Again - IMO - this is good for the CFL. Wish him well, but the Argos will likely welcome him back.

I’m a little surprised Polk slipped through the NFL’s fingers the first time around, given his huge talent and his one monster SEC season.
A pretty well, mostly, weak set of testing #s at his Pro Day may have soured some NFL expert scouts.

Just goes to show you combine testing numbers aren’t the best all end all, some guys are just really good football players.

Lots of catches, but only about a 10 yard average reception. Not exactly a monster year. Receivers that average 10 yards rarely are high priority draft picks. But he showed he is capable of much more here once we had a QB that can throw down field.
