That was what the team was saying shortly after the surgery. Good news indeed.

Coach Dinwiddie was a guest on SportsCage today. When asked about Kelly, he said he is running around but isn't expecting him to be ready for Game 1, but perhaps Game 3 or 4.

Fortunately, the Argos have Arbuckle to start those 3 or 4 games.

In the latest installment of the 3 Down Nation Podcast, host Justin Dunk stated that Argos Franchise QB Chad Kelly will be available to the team in week 1, if not sooner. I can totally see Coach Dinwiddie holding the League's Top QB by far, out a couple games to be cautious.

I don't think they'll play him in the pre-season, but could be wrong.

I want to see if this Tucker Horn guy can push Dukes at all. That said, I think they'll want to keep both Arbuckle and Dukes around until it is known for certain that Kelly is good to go.

.

100%. Unless a vet they like gets released unexpectedly, Kelly, Arbuckle and Dukes will be our 3 guys.
