It would be good to have Nick back if the price is right, that is if it would not impact on re-signing of other key free agents such as Ceresna and McManis.

Assuming (remember about what can happen if you assume??) that Arbuckle is brought back, who are #'s 3 & 4 for training camp?
Dukes and Scott are pending Free Agents, right?

It appears as thought they are in a cash crunch and Dukes now has a bit of a resume, so I don't see him being brought back. He can probably get paid more elsewhere. I am OK with that. As soon as teams figured out he wasn't throwing down field, he was very ineffective.

Yes, I’d keep Scott as #3 and let Dukes walk.AngeloV wrote: ↑Wed Jan 15, 2025 7:32 pmIt appears as thought they are in a cash crunch and Dukes now has a bit of a resume, so I don't see him being brought back. A star QB in Kelly; a capable vet in Arbuckle, and a couple of young guys to battle it out for #3 in TC is a pretty good QB scenario? Could bring in another young QB to compete with Dukes & Scott for #3 and maybe find a gem for down the road. Not sure if they are looking at other QBs for TC, but why not ?ARGO57 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 15, 2025 8:12 pmYes, I’d keep Scott as #3 and let Dukes walk.AngeloV wrote: ↑Wed Jan 15, 2025 7:32 pmIt appears as thought they are in a cash crunch and Dukes now has a bit of a resume, so I don't see him being brought back. Who else is looking for a #2 QB right now? Winnipeg and BC, maybe? The Argos seem to have the leverage in re-signing Arbuckle.

If he is not signed to an NFL contract, I would love to see the Argos draft Elgersma to be the team's 3rd string QB.
