Good scoop. Hamilton played "home" games there in 2013, so I guess we might need to do the same for a few weeks next season. It's a nice atmosphere, but the stadium itself is very uncomfortable, IMO. Hard benches and not enough leg room. Oh well, it is what it is.

Well it's better than Fort Mac or "Home" games in Hamilton & Ottawa for sure.

I wouldn't mind being able to sit on that hill on the opposite sideline akin to what MLB teams do for spring training in certain instances.

If the Argos do relocate to Guelph next season, you figure for 2 games?

It shouldn't be any more than that.

Since they've already done Guelph before, why not try another Ontario town/stadium down the road? : either Kingston or London.

Probably because the setup at Guelph is great from a football standpoint. Locker rooms, meeting rooms, etc. They've used it often enough in camp to be able to set it up the way they want it. Any other facility would have a lot of unknowns.

Kingston and London are too far, in my opinion, and would be inaccessible for certain season ticket holders to reach. The Redblacks are also holding training camp in Kingston in 2025 and likely would object to Argos encroaching on their territory.

To drive from Thornhill to London is ~2 hours and ~2.5 hours to Kingston. While accommodations wouldn't be an issue for me in the latter, they would in the former and I suspect might be for others.

Consider the following driving distances:

Barrie to London: ~2.5 hours
Barrie to Kingston: ~3 hours
Oshawa to London: ~2.5 hours
Oshawa to Kingston: ~2 hours
BMO to London: 2 h 5 minutes
BMO to Kingston: 2 h 40 minutes

I was talking about hosting league games; not TC. KIngston has a fairly, new and modern stadium. And either town might result in some new Argo / CFL fans being born with the exposure; as opposed to Guelph where it's been there / done that (including the Ticats). And the Argos could organize a comfortable VIA train trip / package to either town - both bigger tourist draws IMO - promote it as a big thing (as opposed to see if u can make your way to Guelph). But I get it - thinking outside the box or trying smart or innovative ideas to market and promote the Argos/ CFL - not a good idea maybe.

OV Argo, I just can't believe that you would write something like that without intending to back-handedly say that anyone wo disagrees with you must neither be smart nor an outside the box innovative thinker.
