He's been with the team for more than a year and has been in the lineup for two games so far (one last year). Starting him (or any other rookie) is risky, but beggars can't be choosers. Really hoping Giffen heals up. Also really hoping Moore stops having a couple of terrible whiffs each game. It won't help that his guard partner is now out.
The easiest move is to have either Giffen (if healthy enough) or Bosse start at left guard and keep the rest of the o-line the same. If Giffen can't go though, it will continue to be a less than experienced duo on the left side of the line.

Hunter moves to LG. Ergle starts at RT. Dankwah and Bosse back up. Giffen and Doxtater to IR.

George starts again at SAM, Rutledge goes to PR.

Calver is back to bolster specials, which have lost Cassar and Haba. Brown backs up Williams at RB.

Herslow starts at SB for Daniels. Turner is in to return kicks.

Wonder if Slywka could do some double duty and play some receiver to see what he might bring there ?

I can't see it. He's likely been spending all of his mtg and practice time with the DBs.

I don't see it either for the following reasons:

1. He's already showed some promise at S; AND
2. He's only 2 games into his CFL career, let him ensconce himself at S before looking into any double duty.

Not entirely against it in theory, but not right now.

Actually Brissett is starting in Danels spot and Herslow moves to Brissett’s regular spot. A slight shuffle

Even when Jan Carinci moved to free safety (or rover as it was often called) in 1984, he only played there and didn't play offence, where he spent most of his career. Likewise, whenever Micah Johnson gets pressed into o-line service with the Riders, he only plays there and not on defence. The days of anyone playing both offence and defence likely ended around 1974.

On the chart, yes. But having said that, I noticed they moved the receivers around a bit last week, i.e. while Daniels and Coxie typically lined up on the boundary side, they sometimes switched to the field side (and the opposite was true for the other guys). I had just finished telling my seatmate that Ungerer was the field-side wideout when on the very next play, he lined up (and was targeted) at the boundary side.

I guess with the hashmarks closer not, boundary and field don't make much of a difference, but I expect to see the majority of the time Brissett and Coxie lining up together

I remember Earl Winfield was pressed into some DB work for the Ti-Cats due to injury and small rosters on a couple of occasions, and still played on O.
