Valid points, they could be digging a big hole if they don’t get their act together sooner rather than later, Ottawa will be riding high after getting their first win and the Ticats tend to play the Argos very tough.RB957 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 22, 2025 1:37 pmI think everyone has made a valid point on this. Definitely, this is uncharted territory for Dinwiddie, having never been in this situation before, and no doubt the winless start to the season and two losses at home has contributed to the pressure he is under and thus, this emotional outburst. I believe he will reflect and learn from it, as all good coaches do. As for him "losing his mind", we have no idea what was said in the locker room at half-time, but I would suspect discipline and self-control on the part of his players was part of it. Then to see his players, in effect, lose their minds and take more stupid selfish penalties, probably put him over the edge. Forcibly shoving the player? This isn't pee-wee football, the players are grown men who play a violent game. In the heat of the moment, shoving a player who just made a bone head play isn't the biggest sin in the world. I would bet if you asked the player, he would say he deserved it. The Argos are in a tough spot, and it is not going to get any easier and so everyone on the team, from Dinwiddie on down, has to dig deep, re-focus and start to "pull together".paulwoods13 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 21, 2025 9:20 pmIt's one thing to say penalties are unacceptable, or the offensive line got beaten up. It's another to say "a guard" is too light, and imply that individual (could be any of the guards, so now they're all potentially guilty) was malingering in the offseason. And it's yet another thing to forcibly shove one of your players on the sideline, while blowing a gasket for a minute or more. Dinwiddie lost his mind at least twice last night. Lets hope he didn't also lose the room.

Re: Dinwiddie's outburst
Does anyone feel Coach will cut anyone as he mentioned after the game?
Re: Dinwiddie's outburst
I feel a bit bad/sad for him if it's just a case of losing his head in anger. Pathetic $hite to throw a pro football player under the bus like that in public. Again pal - you started him, and if he was such a lightweight weakling, why did u play the guy? Notice you didn't throw your QB under the bus after the 1st games where he gifted the opposition defensive TDs? Wonder why not ?

Just who did he throw under the bus? Give me a name.

I'll give you a little hint: "a guard".AngeloV wrote: ↑Sun Jun 22, 2025 4:47 pmOV Argo wrote: ↑Sun Jun 22, 2025 4:35 pm I feel a bit bad/sad for him if it's just a case of losing his head in anger. Re: Dinwiddie's outburst
He has put all the guards under scrutiny: Doxtater, Vandal, Hunter and (maybe, since he has played guard in the past, and opened the season on the bench, for no discernible reason) Nicastro.

In your opinion. They are professionals. They can handle this.paulwoods13 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 22, 2025 5:42 pm He has put all the guards under scrutiny: Doxtater, Vandal, Hunter and (maybe, since he has played guard in the past, and opened the season on the bench, for no discernible reason) Nicastro.

Yeah, laughsble that I would defend someone with his record. So laughable that I am giving him the benefit of the doubt.OV Argo wrote: ↑Sun Jun 22, 2025 4:55 pmI'll give you a little hint: "a guard".AngeloV wrote: ↑Sun Jun 22, 2025 4:47 pmOV Argo wrote: ↑Sun Jun 22, 2025 4:35 pm I feel a bit bad/sad for him if it's just a case of losing his head in anger. But not quite as laughable as 99% of your repeat posts.

Re: Dinwiddie's outburst
There is nothing about this that is an opinion. He has stated publicly that "a guard" weighs 280 pounds and "I don't know what he did in the offseason." Unless you think the guys i mentioned above are not guards, then any one of them could be who he was referring to. Whether or not they can handle being called out is a matter of opinion, sure. But it's fact that he called a guard out and didn't name him, so anyone is free to wonder and speculate about which guard. Which means all of them might be the one.AngeloV wrote: ↑Sun Jun 22, 2025 5:46 pmIn your opinion. They are professionals.
