Right. IIRC he had some off-target snaps, but I guess that means he could move inside if needed.AngeloV wrote: ↑Mon Jul 14, 2025 3:39 pmVandal played C in pre seasonpaulwoods13 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 14, 2025 3:38 pmBosse and Dankwah have been the two backups lately. Bosse is presumably the main inside guy, and Dankwah backed up at tackle. So someone else will need to dress to get to seven. Let's hope Nicastro stays healthy as I don't think we have anyone else who has played centre (other than Ciraco and Hunter).gilthethrill wrote: ↑Mon Jul 14, 2025 2:25 pmI like the thought of Dankwah starting at RT. I would think Bosse would come in there if needed?

I appreciate your optimism, but there haven't been too many (any?) instances that I can recall lately of rookie NATs being effective at tackle. Let's hope Dankwah is ready for Montreal's at-times hellacious pass rush.gilthethrill wrote: ↑Mon Jul 14, 2025 2:25 pmI like the thought of Dankwah starting at RT. They are losing guys to serious injury on their bye-weeks now? What in the name of Kraut is going on with this team? Kelly's rehabbing in Buffalo? I thought he was medically cleared to practice 7 weeks ago. The West will be crossing over by the look of things. Nathan Rourke looks good and BC are in fourth place in the West. Argos lose to Montreal and the season looks bleak. I think Arbuckle and the offence can get it done now. It's the defence. They can't stop run or pass.paulwoods13 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 14, 2025 1:11 pm Ryan Hunter hurt his shoulder during bye week and will be out for a while, according to Scianitti. Guess Ergle will fill, and an INT d-lineman will have to sit.
Our once-vaunted o-line now consists of one star veteran, one guy who has less than a year's experience and three rookies. Gonna be a challenge keeping our QBs upright and opening holes for our backs.

Not really liking the way things are shaping up this season which to date has been a misery.
Montreal followed by back to back games against Winnipeg looks pretty daunting right now.
The dreaded west team crossover a distinct possibility as you mentioned.

Pretty hard for me to fathom why rookie NI OTs - most who have played the Canadian game lots before - would struggle any more than rookie import OTs who have no clue / experience about the different line play in Canadian football ?
And the list of new or rookie American OTs who get CFL playing time and get beaten like drums is fairly extensive; and that's A-Ok though but a Canadian playing OT and getting beat some just screams OMG. LOL.

McMahon, McManis and Parish are AVAILABLE. Kelly, not surprisingly, is OUT. Ciraco is QUESTIONABLE.
Brown, Rutledge and Kwamou have been released. Presumably McMahon draws back in.

Kelly will be available for the CNE game in 2026 according to Matthew Scianitti.paulwoods13 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 15, 2025 3:46 pm McMahon, McManis and Parish are AVAILABLE. Kelly, not surprisingly, is OUT. Ciraco is QUESTIONABLE.

After a bye week its good to see some reinforcements coming. Losing Hunter arguably their best O-Lineman will be tough to overcome, much like losing your entire D-Line.paulwoods13 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 15, 2025 3:46 pm McMahon, McManis and Parish are AVAILABLE. Hunter has struggled this year, but moving from left side to right is not an easy transition. Difficult footwork adjustment. I’m sure he would eventually get used to it, but I am excited to see Dankwah play.Scooter McCray wrote: ↑Tue Jul 15, 2025 5:59 pmAfter a bye week its good to see some reinforcements coming. If nothing else comes of this season, playing alot of first year players will provide them valuable experience and give the coaching staff alot to look at. I'd like to see Ojo play. Is there a reason he hasn't been getting in?AngeloV wrote: ↑Tue Jul 15, 2025 7:07 pmHunter has struggled this year, but moving from left side to right is not an easy transition.
