Just so typical of how this season has been going so far.

Ask Grok, ask Perplexity, “what plays can I run to beat a 7 man blitz?” :D

Sums it up quite nicely Will.
This team is fully deserving of their 1-5 record.

Wasn't able to watch the game live so I got up for the 1:30am TSN replay. Feel like crap now and will the rest of the weekend. I thought Arbuckle had time to throw on that I'll fated play that basically wiped out Slywka's heroics. I think the Offence went 2 & Out the entire 2nd half but once?
If Kelly isn't healthy yet, just sit him down for the rest of the season and write this nightmare off.
Bright spot was the Argos uniform combination was spectacular and that they fought hard to prove the goofs that put them as 10 point underdogs were way off.

What? that's not football
And the hustle by Slywka on the goal-line was awesome. The leaping pass knockdown in the endzone was superb athletic skill.
And Ungerer was so open on his TD, it was a stunner.
Love the CFL and the Argos, but mostly just appreciate the plays that are made. Great to watch.
Was thinking the same.... Slywka and I think it was McFadden in the end zone... both those plays were spectacular.

Nic was running for his life on some of those plays in the end... definitely a tough lose as we we seemed to have it in the bag.

Sometimes we play well against the Bombers...Hopefully we catch a break next weekend.

Go ARGOS !!!

A tough loss for sure, but plenty of promising signs and the season is still young.

As predicted both McManus and McMahon brought a huge boost in their return to the lineup with new energy on both sides of the ball. But both players got re-injured in the second half and it kind of took the wind out of the balloon. Still, it needs to be recognized the Argos played their best ball of the season in the first half.

The O-line looked better without The Scooter Man than they did with him which is pretty strange and interesting. We saw world-class football plays from McFadden, Slywka, Mital, Coxie and others. There is plenty of good to build on.

I’m not worried. Looks like Alexander will be out for weeks again and the Als will be lucky to win a game with MBT at QB. Someone noted rightly that the Bombers started 1-5 last year and ended up pretty good. It would be a big mistake to write this team off so early.

For the season to potentially turn around, they need a certain # 12 back, and his status gets murkier and murkier by the week.

Unless the play of the OL and DL improve this is going to be a long and disappointing year.

This is a perceptive comment. Games are won in the trenches. And without good QB play you cannot win in the CFL.
Argos pass rush has evaporated. Parish got back in, but did not play up to his past performances.
Big question...can we win a game (please, just one) on home field??

The Argos have just 3 games left with teams currently on a par with them.

The rest of the remaining games will not be easy given the play of the teams so far.

The media keeps saying that "reinforcements are coming" but who exactly are these reinforcements that will shore up the defensive line?
