I was at this game. We were in what I think was the North endzone.

There was some animosity before and during the game. We were in the section that still allows horns and I loudly mocked the horn blowers after the Argos first TD.

We mocked their ole chant too after that strip on the one yard line.

I gotta say though, the stadium has some real charm to it.

As soon as the game ended, we were shaking hands with Als fans that we had heated exchanges with during game. At the end of the day, we were all friends and we knew why we were there.

Canadian Football is a magical sport. It was a great experience to see a game in Montreal, win or lose.

I would highly recommend Amelia's. It's a 10 minute walk from the stadium and it's the best pizza I have ever had.

I figured out lopsided is a premature evaluation because '25 and '26 draft picks are part of the trade.

Last week Vernon Adams was Fanduel’s betting favourite for CFL MOP. Those draft picks would have to turn out pretty, pretty, pretty good, let’s say unprecedentedly well, for the trade to be anything but a gift for the Stamps.

No chance he is ahead if Bo Levi or Kenny Lawler for that matter. He’s been good, not great. Their defence has been more impressive than their offence so far. And I am a huge fan of VA.

It was on last week’s broadcast for all to see that VA was Fanduel’s betting favourite for MOP.

I think that we may see tonight the effect that VA3 has had on the Stamps. Is the offensive improvement because of him or it is the play calling and other players stepping up. Granted, their defence has really improved this season but Adams has unquestionably brought a dynamism to the offense that has been missing since Mitchell left.

VA is having a nice season, but giving him less favourable (to the bettor) odds than Bo for MOP seems like a pretty big mistake by FanDuel.

Point being of course, is the Stamps were gifted a top CFL QB who’s turned the team’s fortunes around. It happens in this crazy league. Like in 2012 when the Argos were gifted Ricky Ray.

As it turned out, the Stamps went heavy on their league-leading running game to try to take the pressure off Walker. Ottawa totally blew up that plan by giving up only 35 yards on 17 rushes.

As much as I hate to say it Bo Levi has been outstanding so far this season and should be the favourite for MOP at this point.
