The only thing that is going to derail a Tiger-Cats Grey Cup Championship this year is a healthy Argonauts team come playoff time. The league is very much up for grabs this year.ARGO57 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 01, 2025 3:06 pmAs much as I hate to say it Bo Levi has been outstanding so far this season and should be the favourite for MOP at this point.paulwoods13 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 31, 2025 6:48 pm VA is having a nice season, but giving him less favourable (to the bettor) odds than Bo for MOP seems like a pretty big mistake by FanDuel.

Exactly, It's easy to say that a team should run more but Calgary tried running a decent amount last night and got nowhere with it. They were constantly in 2nd and long situations as a result.argolio wrote: ↑Fri Aug 01, 2025 12:03 pmAs it turned out, the Stamps went heavy on their league-leading running game to try to take the pressure off Walker. Ottawa totally blew up that plan by giving up only 35 yards on 17 rushes.primetime321 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 31, 2025 5:32 pmI think that we may see tonight the effect that VA3 has had on the Stamps. Is the offensive improvement because of him or it is the play calling and other players stepping up. Granted, their defence has really improved this season but Adams has unquestionably brought a dynamism to the offense that has been missing since Mitchell left.

Many times last night, Walker seemed to play a NFL style of game i.e. staying in the pocket without moving around too much. This is contrary to the offense that Adams ran, where there was lots of movement and mobility used, which tends to open up gaps in the defense for the running game to exploit. Many of us Argo fans have noticed this more static offense with Arbuckle this season. When Arbuckle has utilized more motion in his game, IMO the offense has been more effective.ArgoRavi wrote: ↑Fri Aug 01, 2025 4:25 pmExactly, It's easy to say that a team should run more but Calgary tried running a decent amount last night and got nowhere with it. James Butler has been really good so far, but his team might not win enough for him to be the West nominee.ARGO57 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 01, 2025 3:06 pmAs much as I hate to say it Bo Levi has been outstanding so far this season and should be the favourite for MOP at this point.paulwoods13 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 31, 2025 6:48 pm VA is having a nice season, but giving him less favourable (to the bettor) odds than Bo for MOP seems like a pretty big mistake by FanDuel.

McGill Stadium is a magical corner of a magical city. But the hike uphill to get there from downtown could very well kill me the next time I try it. I’ll have to check out Amelia’s too, thanks for the tip.IssuesMcgee wrote: ↑Thu Jul 24, 2025 1:16 am I was at this game. We were in what I think was the North endzone.
There was some animosity before and during the game. We were in the section that still allows horns and I loudly mocked the horn blowers after the Argos first TD.
We mocked their ole chant too after that strip on the one yard line.
I gotta say though, the stadium has some real charm to it.
As soon as the game ended, we were shaking hands with Als fans that we had heated exchanges with during game. At the end of the day, we were all friends and we knew why we were there.
Canadian Football is a magical sport. It was a great experience to see a game in Montreal, win or lose.
I would highly recommend Amelia's. It's a 10 minute walk from the stadium and it's the best pizza I have ever had.

Compounded if you sit on the mountain side. You need to climb another (albeit smaller) hill to get up there.RichK wrote: ↑Tue Aug 05, 2025 1:42 amMcGill Stadium is a magical corner of a magical city.
