Game Thread - Ottawa Redblacks vs. Toronto Argonauts - Saturday August 9 @ 3:00 pm

I wonder if like the Argos, having the parent NHL team owning them means they are not paid enough attention to. These ownership groups might pay the bills, but is it beneficial to long term fan building?

100% the case, the CFL teams are an afterthought at best.

Yep; then it's too bad so sad, that the CFL has been desperate enough to take on such useless, uncaring, corporate swine types as owners for some teams in the league.

Too bad there aren't more Doman's or Pele-dough's out there. But, maybe, just maybe, down the road, another couple of these types could emerge to take over the Argos, or the Stamps, or maybe the RedBlacks (not impressed by the efforts of that group to market and promote the team here).

Lack of respect for Canadian football in our own country remains a sad state of affairs.

It would be great someone like Bob Young would emerge and run the team with the passion and pride that he does but sadly in Toronto I don’t think that is on the horizon.
Rogers solely owning and controlling the Argonauts isn’t great IMO but at least the team still exists.
I do expect Rogers to divest themselves of both the Argonauts and TFC sometime in the future.
