I haven't paid much attention to their weekly grades, but this week's has left me 100% convinced they are next to useless as a tool for understanding and evaluating player performance.
Trevor Harris (15-of-23 for 205 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions in a 15-point loss) was the highest-graded QB last weekend. Who knows what Nick Arbuckle (26-33, 430 yards, three TDs and a rushing TD in a 52-point win) would have had to do to get a better grade than Harris.

Re: Pro Football Focus
I note that PFF felt compelled to explain the fact that Arbuckle ranked FOURTH among QBs last weekend. Whether I'd buy their explanation is another story.

Re: Pro Football Focus
Coming into the season PFF had Calgarys QB room, either the highest or 2nd highest in the league. I guess they knew something about PJ Walker ahead of time.....
Re: Pro Football Focus
And a guy who played on defence for BC (won't name names for fear of being called anti Canadian) got the highest defensive grade.paulwoods13 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 26, 2025 1:56 pm I haven't paid much attention to their weekly grades, but this week's has left me 100% convinced they are next to useless as a tool for understanding and evaluating player performance.
