4. Secondary still needs to be much, much better.
A little bit of pressure on the QB would help with that. Seems the Argos D-line can't get in without some type of blitz.

Obviously he defied Coach’s instructions to go down before the clock ran out, and that can’t be justified by invoking some uncontrollable football instinct that he may have experienced. He is a professional after all.

And he is lucky. This would have been one of the worst game-losing blunders in Argos history.

But it’s about time that Karma starts bending our way in 2025. I thought Bo was celebrating way too much with 18 seconds left. The football gods have spoken!
Brissett admitted after the game that he regretted not going out of bounds. He will be spoken to about it and will learn.

We didn't get a sack until the very end when Hamilton was trying for the 2 point convert, but I thought we did get some pressure on Bo during the game. I counted at least three times he had to throw the ball OB to avoid getting hit.

Exactly.

Argos never quit. They fought right until the end, and won. Against the Ti-Cats. In Hamilton. That is all that matters.

Spencer Brown is a keeper at RB.
Argonaut receivers are all gamers for sure but the D really got away with one today, simply can’t give up a long play like they did late in this game.
To be fair to the Argos D.... they held Hamilton and got the ball back on a turnover on downs with a minute and half left while we still had a 5 point lead. If the offence could have gotten at least one first down, the game is likely over, even if we had to punt because of field position. But a quick 2 and out and having to punt from deeper in our end gave Hamilton that chance. That is not on the D.

I don't disagree, but I think that was good coverage on all those plays and he just couldn't find someone open. The pressure on those plays to me came late because of the coverage.

Couldn't agree more. The swing pass to Mital was behind him. If he was led on that, with full head of steam behind him, he may have gotten the first down to seal it.

I don't like harping on the refs, but that PI call on Franklin when he was covering Lawler (I think it set up Bridges 4th Quarter TD) was just horrible. The Argos D have been good denying 2 point converts this season. That lone Sack yesterday turned out to be huge.

Having said that, if Dinwiddie challenged and lost, we would have lost the game. Keeping that time out was huge in leaving the Argos time to make that final play.

Agreed Coach was wise to keep the flag in his pocket.
