Dave Naylor is reporting that Nick Arbuckle has a calf strain and is expecting to be out 2-4 weeks. Chad Kelly is at practice, but not dressed.

It is looking like Doege will start against the Alouettes on Friday.

:( :o  :?

Wow.
I am starting to think that we won't see Kelly at all this season.

Well it is what it is. Nothing else we can do but get behind the new starting QB.

Snoop Doege? Doege 2 Dope? TallaDoege Nights? Dungeons and Doege?

I hope Kelly is not being left on the shelf because the org wants him to start his comeback in the "Bills game." But based on Pelley's remarks at the announcement last week, I think that is a possibility.

That would be awful. I can't see Dinwiddie being ok with that scenario. Having said that, if they did put him back on the 6 game, and plan on doing that, that may explain why he isn't practicing.

I could see a scenario where Pelley insisted on such a thing. Without presidents of the MLSE teams, all the operations brass report directly to him now. He made a point of saying how much he enjoyed his dinner with Craig Berube after Shanahan was terminated. He seems to want to run the whole show.

Argos suddenly need a third QB on the roster. I guess that will be Duggan although I wonder if they might scoop Dukes off Mtl's practice roster. Als have six QBs at the moment.
