Preaching to the choir here. I would love to hear a post game while stuck in traffic after the game. And who would be better than Hogie hosting it? Even if it was only online.Scooter McCray wrote: ↑Thu Sep 18, 2025 12:58 pmIf only a media conglomerate owned the team. Not to be a negative Ned but I wish our communication team would send an email ... update the web site ... update social media ... so word gets out about this kind of stuff... and to avoid confusion...

Back in the 1980’s we always enjoyed the post game roundup on our drive home featuring Bob Bratina and Pete Martin, a great recap and insight into the game we had just watched.AngeloV wrote: ↑Thu Sep 18, 2025 6:59 pmPreaching to the choir here. It's a natural part of Fandom. We all grew up with it. You've got 10s of thousands who just attended the game and another few hundred thousand who watched it on TV. Nobody can tell me that you couldn't fill another hour of air time, and have more listeners and sponsors versus playing ESPN 8 rerun. Is there any other pro team that does this?ARGO57 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 18, 2025 7:18 pmBack in the 1980’s we always enjoyed the post game roundup on our drive home featuring Bob Bratina and Pete Martin, a great recap and insight into the game we had just watched.AngeloV wrote: ↑Thu Sep 18, 2025 6:59 pmPreaching to the choir here. Mike Pinball was front and centre for the Launch of the Thanksgiving drive yesterday . He is Freakin amazing.
I heard eventually tackle hunger might switch to something like the Red bag Campaign.
Hope our Tackle hunger game gets good support.

Today marks the launch of Daily Bread's 2025 Thanksgiving Drive.
We're calling on the community to get involved in any way they can to help us reach our goal of $4.4 million and 225,000 pounds of food by October 31.
We're deeply grateful to the community for rallying together to help meet emergency service demands this Thanksgiving. In 2024, food banks across the city saw 3.75 million visits, with numbers in 2025 expected to exceed 4 million million — the highest on record and almost five times pre-pandemic levels.
As part of this year's drive, Daily Bread is once again partnering with Purolator for the Toronto Red Bag campaign. Aiming to raise 50,000 lbs of food, the Red Bag initiative is part of the Purolator Tackle Hunger® National Red Bag Campaign, which supports families facing food insecurity across Canada.
Thank you to our partners at Purolator and Toronto Fire Services for their support. Thank you as well to today's speakers: Neil Hetherington, CEO, Daily Bread Food Bank; Olivia Chow, Mayor, City of Toronto; Alexa Gilmour, MPP, Parkdale-High Park; Michael "Pinball" Clemons, General Manager, Toronto Argonauts Football Club; Marla Friebe, Acting Deputy Fire Chief, Toronto Fire Services; Mike Smith, President, Toronto Professional Fire Fighters' Association; Steve Scorca, Senior Manager of Operations, Purolator.

The crack email team sent a note yesterday reminding me that GO Transit offers a special $10 Saturday and Sunday Weekend Pass and that that GO is a great way to get to the game.ARGOFanIan wrote: ↑Thu Sep 18, 2025 9:46 am Not to be a negative Ned but I wish our communication team would send an email ... update the web site ... update social media ... so word gets out about this kind of stuff... and to avoid confusion...
Well it would be, except that pass is for Saturday and Sunday, and the game's on Friday.
sigh.

Shout out to the Daily Bread Food Bank, thier Volunteers and Purolator for making this happen.
Facebook / Instagram post by ARGO social media team was excellent. Best ever.
Shout out and thanks also to Ryan Hunter (Purolator Tackle Ambassador) and ARGO Players for their support ... Saw Ryan on CP24 talking about the food drive...
Thanks everyone who donated...
This event hasn't been promoted much before now, going back to David Braley days. Just think with some promotion, stuff like this might work in Toronto after all. We have great fans, there are good people at MLSE, our players are the best .... Daily Bread Food Bank and Purolator are awesome for doing this.
Hopefully we can keep the momentum going in 2026... Go ARGOS !!!
