Great game by the D, not a great game by the refs, and an unfortunate mistake by our third string qb at the end.

It looked like Polk was interfered with on that play, but it went uncalled and the Argos had no timeouts left.

Sadly, officiating and the replay centre played a huge role in the outcome tonight.

Am I the only person who can't fathom why Dinwiddie went for a field goal late when trailing by five, and why he called a passing play later when Argos were on the cusp of (if not already in) Hajrallahu's range?

Nope; it was PI IMO.

Not sure why one more run play to help set-up a long FG was not tried instead of an INT to seal the deal ?

D played good mostly; Doege is just not up to running RD's intermediate & deep passing game, especially with no real run game support.

Gonna be a West cross-over it looks like; if it's the Bummers - they will go nowhere; IF it ends up being BC, I fear an all West GC.

No real run nning game support doesn't quite do it justice. Eight RB carries for seven yards.

And three or four of those came on the 2nd last offensive play of the game. I think you answered your own question, Paul, as to why the Argos threw on the next play instead of running. It would have been a 58 yard FG attempt from where they were on the field.

The CFL on TSN panel was unanimous that interference should have been called on this play.
