Good move, Miller has paid his dues with the Argonauts and works well with Kelly and Arbuckle.
Hopefully he builds a good coaching staff.
Now they need to bolster the player ops department!!!

This is great news. Now the next steps are who will be on his staff. Will Pete Costanza be his offensive coordinator? (I'm hoping so). Will Kris Sweet stay as o-line coach or will he move to Ottawa to be with Dinwiddie? But to me, the most important appointments will be on defense.

Considering the circumstances of this past year this seems like the wisest move. We know he's excellent with the QB's and so by extension I have faith in his ability to help develop an offence. How he'll do with creating a culture, game management, and other head coach type of decisions will remain to be seen but he has paid his dues and deserves a chance.

I am pleased with this hiring. Miller and Costanza were my top 2, in no particular order. I wasn't terribly enthused by Kent Austin and had little interest in Rick Campbell. Hopefully, Miller can put together a solid staff and get the football operations support that he needs. I would add that this hire is a strong message regarding the team's commitment to Chad Kelly as their starting QB. I have no doubt that Kelly and Nick Arbuckle must both be thrilled with the promotion of Miller.

Great moves by the Argos. He has paid his dues and is well respected by the players, especially the QBs.

I wanted an offensive coach, so I'm good with the hire.

I feel the same way with this hire as I did when they announced Dinwiddie as head coach. Hopefully he will have the same amount of success.

Just as important (and perhaps even more so) is how they structure the defensive coach responsibilities. They have to be much better, especially with only 6 home games.

Miller is a good person and a good coach who deserves this opportunity. Now the question is, will the org give him the conditions to succeed by letting him hire a good coaching staff, beefing up the football ops dept and aggressively filling holes in the roster? He's already behind the 8-ball in 2026, with just six home games. MLSE better pony up for a solid overall org or he will have little chance of succeeding in Year 1.
