Montreal not as strong without Fajardo

Post by kellynjk »

Montreal is looking beatable in their game against Saskatchewan tonight. Caleb Evans and the Montreal offence is struggling tonight!

Never heard of Davis Alexander (Montreal 3rd quarterback) but he looks impressive so far!

He played and looked pretty good in the 2022 regular season finale against the Argos. Caleb Evans has had enough chances. Barring injuries, I don’t see him getting much more playing time.

On a side note, thanks a lot Riders. All you cad to do was score 1 more or give up 1 less point. Spread was 3.5. Serves me right for betting on a team I can’t stand.

Earlier this week I suggested to a fellow forum member who shall remain nameless that Alexander should start over Evans. IIRC my suggestion was met with down right contempt and name calling.

I have to check my text history. This sounds like a blatant lie.

I don't remember that game in 2022, but I would definitely start Alexander for as long as Fajardo is out as he was so much more effective and impressive than Caleb Evans was last night.

That game was Chad Kelly's first Argo start. Alexander and Kelly put on a show with Montreal just beating Toronto. I always wondered what happened to him because I never saw him play again until last night. Always thought someone should give him an opportunity. Good for him. Als may be okay while Fajardo recovers.

Davis Alexander looks pretty good tonight, albeit against a bad Hamilton team.

He looks very impressive and should be Montreal’s future at QB.
