Kelly will be back for the Riders home game. Sounds like the Argos are hoping he can start practicing soon.

I am not sure how this will go. I really don't expect Randy to automatically reinstate CK even if he does fulfill all his commitments.

According to Dinwiddie, Kelly is doing all that is required. All the counselling, etc is all window dressing to appease the detractor's. All Kelly has to do is say the right things which isn't too hard. “Yeah, I acted inappropriately”. 9 games is a huge suspension and he served it. I can’t fathom any other reason he’s not reinstated despite the upcoming outcry’s.

Kelly has kept a low profile since the beginning of this process, and the Argonauts have not made any waves with the league on the handling of this situation. Dinwiddie seems confident that the process is nearing it's conclusion and he should begin integrating with the team and begin preparing to play again. He is correct in assessing that he cannot just come off of suspension and take the field. He needs to prepare properly to not injure himself and be effective. Half a season suspension is significant, and until and unless the league wants to be transparent and provide the full report and the process they followed to arrive at that 9 game amount, they should start to play ball with the Argos and let the man begin his career again.

No one still knows the actual full story to this and we will never know. I read it actually involved another player not AJO. Can these rumours be trusted? I doubt it.

Cancel culture at its finest, won't be happy even after Kelly serves his suspension.
MLSE is a corporation that is keenly protective of their brand and image, the fact that the HC and GM whom I suspect have knowledge of the situation in its entirety are sticking by Kelly to me that speaks volumes.
I for one look forward to Kelly’s return and hope he succeeds with the Argonauts.
