Putting Reinebold together with Dinwiddie -- what could possibly go wrong?

Hey, they've got one Canadian on staff there (at the low end of the coaching totem pole) = that's pretty radical !

An interesting take by Dinwiddie on the 2025 Argonauts coaching staff getting a poor grade in the recent players poll including unnecessarily throwing some of his former assistant coaches under the bus “And then there’s a reason why some of the guys that were on my staff aren’t coming with me to Ottawa”
As the head coach you assemble the staff, take accountability for any shortcomings and move on, Dinwiddie obviously missed that memo, total knob.

Choosing Shivers and Marshall - neither of whom had recent success in the CFL - was always questionable and that has to be on Dinwiddie. OL coach Kris Sweet did a solid job over the years in Toronto and I can't really blame him for the o-line problems last season.

The Redblacks released Jovan Santos-Knox. I have a feeling that McManis will be a Redblack.

Good news is Toronto hasn't released McManis, I guess.

Ottawa has been very busy in communicating and are believed to be signing:

Habakkuk Baldonado, C.J Reavis, A.J Allen, Jake Maier, Greg Bell, Ayden Eberhardt among others.

They've won free agency before with bad results on the field so...

Not sure the bad luck continues with Dinwiddie involved. He's getting the players he wants. There's some very good talent in Ottawa now. Hamilton has been picked over, and Toronto and Montreal are holding steady for now. Ottawa is looking to get rich or die trying.

Ottawa will be improved this season but let’s see how patient Dinwiddie is with Dru Brown as his QB.

He's going to need to be patient. Jake Maier is the back up but not somebody who has a high ceiling and you want to be the #1 guy. I do think Dinwiddie will be able to get more out of Brown. RD has had so much success coaching with so many QBs. And it won't be all on Brown. Ottawa are building a solid looking defence that will keep them in games. The East will be a logjam it looks like. Hamilton may be on the outside looking in if they don't find some players.

After not offering a contract to long time Punter Richie Leonie, Dinwiddie has released long time Ottawa PK Lewis Ward. With Wards departure, it is estimated the team will save $20,000 in locker room buffet bills this season.
