Huge game by the D against a fading Winnipeg team. Great to see McFadden return and make some huge plays. The interior of the D Line didn’t slow down with the loss of Brinkman as "Hardcore" Holly and Baron really complimented Ceresna. Stuffing Streveler twice on short yardage (refs got the call right late in the game as he reached the ball forward after he was down). Don't recall the last time a CFL team failed to reach the opposition Red Zone but the Argos managed it and still won.
This team is missing one player, a QB. If Randy decides to end Kelly's exile as he rightfully should, this team will be daunting going into the second half of the season.

The goal is to be .500 for when Kelly returns and then play solid ball down the stretch (although that's assuming Kelly is allowed back and that he doesn't play like he did in the Eastern Final). The Argos D is formidable, even with some key injuries, and won the game for them today.
It was tough to see Dukes not do much and then to have Arbuckle come in and do nothing either (except throw behind his receivers). Nice to get the win but the Bombers blew this one and something needs to be done to get this offence going next week.

An ugly win, but I'll sure as hell taken them right now.
Who the hell do you start at QB for the next few weeks?

I would seriously consider starting Scott against Calgary next week. Dukes seems to have lost all of his confidence (which is unfortunate as he looked so promising the first couple of games) and Arbuckle isn't the answer, not only over-throwing the ball, but very nearly throwing a couple of interceptions. The little bit that Scott has played, he has looked pretty good and what have they got to lose by starting him - it would be difficult for him to look worse than Dukes and Arbuckle looked tonight.

Non Football stuff - Great Atmosphere at the game , Lots of Bomber fans, Really enjoyed the half time show , Argo Fight song is sounding better and better. Felt more like a Bomber loss than an ARGO win to me. The people who came with me enjoyed the game and want to go to the next game . Was an Entertaining night but I guess not the best football.

The game wasn’t that great, but I was into it. Everyone around me too. Lots of cheering and enthusiasm. I guess that happens when the D is on the field so much. The TD pick blew the roof off. We needed that. Great tailgate, great hats and a great win!ARGOFanIan wrote: ↑Sun Jul 28, 2024 8:44 am Non Football stuff - Great Atmosphere at the game , Lots of Bomber fans, Really enjoyed the half time show , Argo Fight song is sounding better and better. Does anyone know more on who Dinwiddie was so angry with on the sideline? The cameras caught it but I haven't heard anyone comment on it. He was livid with one of his players and had to be held back by another coach.

No clue.
Former FAN 590 personality Howard Berger tweeted about it, but I haven't seen any others discuss the matter.

Don't know if this is true, but according to twitter one of the offensive line was going after Dinwiddie for his Mickey Mouse play calling and suggested Dinwiddie should wear contacts instead of glasses!!!

From my vantage point watching the game in my dank smelling basement, it appeared Dejon Allen had ticked off Dinwiddie.kellynjk wrote: ↑Sun Jul 28, 2024 12:02 pmDon't know if this is true, but according to twitter one of the offensive line was going after Dinwiddie for his Mickey Mouse play calling and suggested Dinwiddie should wear contacts instead of glasses!!!I would have to agree that Dinwiddie's play calling was pretty bad last night!!
