But that same media outlet should have been reporting on Kelly's leg scan that he had in January instead of writing about every little irrelevant thing Saskatchewan is doing. A former MOP coming off a lost season due to a gruesome injury should have been covered extensively by CFL media outlets. No excuse whatsoever for not saying a thing.

But why isn’t the team itself giving fans details about his leg scans, his workouts, and everything else? He’s our best player, the face of the franchise, yet if feels like they’re keeping him under wraps.
Honestly Rich I can't answer that. Very good question.

A little late to the party, but nice to see 3 Down giving this situation some attention. Got a chuckle when JC noted Kellly refused to be interviewed. I don't blame him the way JC has smeared Kelly since his suspension.

With the money being thrown around in the NFL for starting and backup QB’s no surprise that he wants to get a shot down south, in reality it ain’t happening for a variety of reasons.

Yeah, can't blame the guy for hoping or trying, but good luck with that idea. He'd actually be better served for that dream by playing in the UFL - cause NFL scouts would look at some play there; OTOH, it's obvious they have basically zero interest now in CFL QBs. But how much does a top UFL QB make compared to what Chad pulls down in the CFL ?

He would pretty much have to be the greatest CFL QB of all time to ever get a look from the NFL and it still may not happen. If he's motivated to do so, I am all for it.

UFL QBs make like $70k US, I think. And, honestly, NFL teams seem to have little interest in UFL QBs beyond being camp bodies.
