Chad Kelly has an excellent chance to get another NFL opportunity as soon as next year.It will greatly depend on how
he performs and survives without injury this season. The NFL is going for the 18 game/20 week season for 2027 season.
The NFL roster sizes(Active/Practice) are gonna jump dramatically for 32 teams.I estimate at least 10 players per team
or the equivalent to the current UFL.NFL teams are going to need at least 45 Quarterbacks as part of that change. This is
going to affect the CFL in so many ways and none of them are good.

Interesting: I'm reading not till 2028 though. And why would they need to expand rosters by 10 players? - I could see 3 or 4 maybe.

If another MOP season and Grey Cup championship means we will lose him to the NFL, well that just may be a deal with the devil I am willing to make!

Dieter Brock's only job in the NFL was to hand the ball off to Eric Dickerson.

Brock played for John Robinson, an actual good old boy coach who believed the run set up the run. Not the best place for Brock to go.. Kind of like how Terry Greer got stuck playing for Marty Schottenheimer, who wanted his receivers to be blockers first.

Brock set the Rams single season completion % mark in his only/rookie season there; plus QB's them to the NFC title game.

If he was a 6-4 all-American hero from UCLA he would have been proclaimed a superstar new NFL QB; a 5-11 little guy from the dinky little CFL = pffft, get rid of him. Total bull$hite from a bunch of clowns down there who are clueless sheep.

Nobody got rid of him. His neck injury ended his career.

True that - i thought it was chronic back problems as well. I was talking more about the reaction from a lot of LA/NFL football fans i read about back in the day - saying Brock was just not good enough for them; again, if he had been an all-American hero, first round draft choice who had accomplished setting the team' s single season passing completion % mark AND QB'd them to a Conference title game, in one/rookie season, he would have been an instant hero / superstar to most of the clowns there.
