I thought Edouard played well when he got chances on defence, so this surprises me a bit. But it’s good news if it means they believe the other Canadian DBs are better fits than he is.
I liked Edouard, too, but wonder if, at age 30, they don't see him as a potential starter and have decided to move on.
Veteran players who are going to be making more than CFL minimum wage, and who are looked at as special teamers or back-ups only, can be replaced by cheaper rookies who are limited to minimum wage - like the past couple of years' draft picks.

Looking at the Argos roster, I find it odd to see Niklas Henning on it after reading the Raiders transactions that indicate he has signed with them.

Maybe the Raiders have released him?

The Argos have added yet another NAT o-lineman - undrafted free agent Victor Olaniran from the University of Manitoba, where he played right tackle. Nobody can say that the Argos don't have tonnes of competition along the o-line at camp.

Who would you rather play for? The Raiders? Or the Argos? Easy answer.

If he signed with Toronto, I think the team would make an announcement. I'm guessing this is a clerical error.

And they did announce Olaniran's signing today, so it's virtually certain that Henning is not on the roster.

No harm meant. Joke, because Raiders are such a bad team, or at least were until they got best QB in the NFL draft. If it were me I'd pick the Argos, because this is the league and sport I fell in love with as a kid. But of course today, literally every single Canadian kid would sign any NFL contract because you can't miss the chance at generational wealth.

Got it! These Raider teams don't resemble the cast of misfits & degenerates from yesteryear!

CFL.CA TRANSACTIONS reports OL Keegan O'Neil has retired from professional football. What are your best memories of O'Neil as a member of the Double Blue?
