Flying out to Cowtown for this one so would obviously like a win.
Re: Game Thread: Toronto Argonauts @ Calgary Stampeders
I expect much better effort from the Stamps this week, having 9 days between games rather than the 5 they had going into Ottawa. If Argos passing game isn't better than it has been the last 5 games, they will need some more turnovers or big ST plays to win. Hopefully the give all the practice reps to whoever is starting this week.

Or Calgary style pizza from Spiros or Grecos. Sweeter sauce, caramelized crust, cheese on top

I have never heard of Calgary style pizza before but that sounds unreal!ArgoGabe22 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 29, 2024 11:01 pmOr Calgary style pizza from Spiros or Grecos. Sweeter sauce, caramelized crust, cheese on top

Putting toppings under the cheese isn't unique to Calgary. They do that in Montreal, too.IssuesMcgee wrote: ↑Tue Jul 30, 2024 1:28 pmI have never heard of Calgary style pizza before but that sounds unreal!ArgoGabe22 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 29, 2024 11:01 pmOr Calgary style pizza from Spiros or Grecos. Yes but do they use a sweeter sauce and caramelized crust? I had pizza In Montreal once at Miami Deli and they did not put the cheese on top. Will wrote: ↑Wed Jul 31, 2024 10:02 amPutting toppings under the cheese isn't unique to Calgary. I might have to go back and get it done right.
Re: Game Thread: Toronto Argonauts @ Calgary Stampeders
That's because it was Miami-style pizza. I have yet to find a decent slice of pizza in South Florida.IssuesMcgee wrote: ↑Wed Jul 31, 2024 1:41 pmYes but do they use a sweeter sauce and caramelized crust? No, no, no - sorry but you're wrong. The best pizza in the world is the original thin crust Napoleon pizza covered with San Marzano tomatoes and mozzarella di bufala campana cheese. Additional toppings are good, but none of this silly North American nonsense of thick stuffed crust and the rest!! Nothing beats it!!!

I think the Argos defence has a good shot at beating the Calgary Stampeders.
