IF, MLSE keep that bag of money and don't use the windfall to better the team, grow the fanbase, etc than Rogers must be deemed a neglectful owner at best, and a hostile owner at worst given they have no skin in the game when it comes to CFL football and the Argos.

Given the new vision, and growth the league office has now, the momentum they're building eith the enthusiastic Ownership in every other market except this one, a decision is going to need to be made here should that bag of money be put towards something other than the Argos.
It is what it is. What is the alternative? I don't see anybody stepping up to take the team off their hands. What's done is done, and we need to accept it. I apologize for bringing it up, especially given the misinformation I had on the TFC schedule. Admittedly, I didn't confirm their schedule...probably because they are nowhere on my list of things to care about.
To be fair, MLS, including TFC, do things the opposite to everyone else in North America - they put the home teams first and the away teams second. I assume they do it this way because they do it like that across the pond.

I never fact checked the information that someone gave me on twitter. That's on me.

Angelo, that was me who responded to you with incorrect information. I saw the TFC schedule on their site and saw Other Team @ TFC. I assumed incorrectly those were home games. Not following soccer I did not understand that is reversed. I should have opened those games up and confirmed where they were. It still means TFC did not sell any of their games, they scheduled around availability of BMO Field, which they could have tried to do with the Argos.
I stand by my comments regarding Ownership taking the easy way out however and everything around that and what they plan to do with the windfall by selling those 3 games. I hope Rogers can be and want to be a beneficial owner to their football team. They have a lot to prove in my opinion.

I had no idea that was you on twitter. But like I said, nobody else is stepping up to buy the team. Maybe in a couple of years if a 10th team is added and the TV deal kicks in, it just might attract someone, but I don’t want the team to have to go through ownership change after ownership change. At least they have been stable since first Bell/Tannenbaum and by extension MLSE took over. I’d rather give up the 3 home games in this particular situation than go through a bunchn of ownership changes again .

Yeah, it can be confusing. Maybe FIFA makes MLS do it the international way.

I hear you, constant ownership change is not stable. I just want this team to have an owner who gives a damn because they can then reach their full potential in this market. Short term I will take stable, hoping Rogers doesn't undermine them.

Likely. When FIFA says "jump," MLS says, "How high"? That's very different from the old NASL, which often came into conflict with FIFA.
