I feel real bad for the EE franchise and fans. It's sad.

Jones is a ridiculously over-rated football mind and more like a clueless clown.

That defensive genius trots out a real bad D, but with all sorts of Americans first great "athletes" though; hopeless secondary that is lost and useless (including vet Purifoy who is not a starting calibre CFL safety (might be ok as a S-OLB or extra DB in some packages)) Looks real good on that clown Jones.

And MBT playing with the likes of Brown art RB and some decent receiver talent might do Ok, but not with dumb offensive coaching holding them back. Tre Ford can hopefully get out of there, sooner than later.

The Elks just keep finding ways to lose. Last night's might have been the worst of the bunch. Not running the clock down to zero before Prukop's third-down TD run was a huge coaching error. Bede's kickoff, presuming it was ordered up the way he kicked it and not just a badly executed kick, is also on the coaching staff. Jones looked as if he was blaming either Bede or the ST coach for that one -- wonder if a screwed-up KO will lead to a second ST coach getting fired this season.

I still expect Jones to survive until a new ownership group emerges.

I also expect Santa Claus to move to a four-times-a-year schedule.

First post in this thread already delivered that news, albeit a few weeks early. Should take a bow?

Opportunity for J. Jackson and Geroy to make some real brave and smart football moves.

I just don't believe they have it in them. More like going to be the same dumb, limited, predictable football offence & defence, plus a roster favoring a pile of over-rated Jones types. We shall see though; I'm pulling for them to show something - even if they are not going to remain in place under the new owners.

Well, it may only be an interim position at this point, but congrats for Jarious Jackson (OOH!) for earning a head coaching position. He was a great backup for the 2012 Argos.

And for the love of God, please start Tre Ford!!!

I can’t see them starting Tre Ford, but I can see them start giving a few packages ever game.

I wonder whether the Ticats will fire their head coach when the Argos beat them this week?

Apparently the crowd in Edmonton was chanting "we want Tre Ford" in the fourth quarter of last night's game, so it will be interesting to see if he now gets a chance to play in upcoming games.

Glad that they finally fired Chris Jones - don't know why he was considered some kind of great football mind? Jones looked angry and frustrated after Bede's kickoff went out of bounds, but I agree with others have said that it was a bad coaching decision, although Bede didn't have a great night (missed a field goal).
