You've misinterpreted the jist of this thread... I'll ask AI to rephrase your post for you...

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats technically have a shot at ending their Grey Cup drought this year—after all, miracles do happen. And hey, Bo Levi Mitchell does have a championship pedigree… even if it’s been gathering dust for a while. If CFL GMs could draft any quarterback to lead their team, BLM would surely make the list… somewhere. But hey, if he can just stay healthy and get them to the playoffs, that alone would be a comeback story worth celebrating.

Based on how he played last year, I would not be surprised if Bo has one more great season in him. I doubt Ticats will emerge from the East, but if not, it won't be because of subpar quarterbacking.

Somewhat off-topic, but Ticats have hired Casey Creehan as an assistant coach. Football coaches have unbelievably itinerant lifestyles: Creehan has lived in 18 different communities since entering coaching in 1999. He managed to stay four consecutive years in Calgary (2004-07) and had five two-year stints, but otherwise has had to pull up stakes every year.

It's nice to be in high demand Paul.

I agree with this. I thought he made way too many mistakes in the first half of the season and was lucky to get his job back with Powell's injury in his first start of the season. The benching seemed to get it into his head to play the way Milanovich wanted him too. He was virtually error free in the 2nd half of the season.

Hate to say but I am often jealous of the Ticats. They have an effective Team store, They are primary tenant at their stadium. Their owner is extremely focused on the team. They seem to do things like let the fans walk on the field post game, draft parties etc...I think Ticat Web media is quite good and extensive.

The fans are extremely passionate... I like the atmosphere at the stadium... but I am semi uncomfortable with wearing my ARGO stuff there.

I think you have to be a Ticat fan or and ARGO fan to really appreciate the rivalry.

Grey cup is great but a season is not a complete success unless we also win the Ballard cup... but thats just me... Hopefully we can fix that this year.

Go ARRGOS
The Tiger Cats do a ton of good work in the Hamilton community and have fostered a fabulous relationship with their fan base.
As you stated they have an owner who is committed to the wellbeing of the franchise and market the team very well.
Every time I attend a Ticat game with my son we visit the in stadium store which is well stocked with Ticat merchandise, BMO Field should have been designed with the same type of in stadium store for both tenants.

I must admit I did a double take when I saw Creehan listed as the DL coach, a mediocre hire at best.

Yep; and as far as Bovine leading them to the promised land - sure, maybe; but I don't see a CFL team /QB that you could not say that about. They are still saddled with Scotty M and a simple predictable offence (some outstanding & deep receiver talent IMO for Bo to work with though), and an iffy defence and a basement dwelling 7 only need apply roster/ratio attitude.

I'll put money on them being in the East basement again, thanks to their football "brain-trust:". Bob-O has no clue there.
