Okay, putting aside all the other issues....
Is it a given that Kelly starts on Thursday? Dinwiddie has said previously that Chad is #1 QB, but he has been away from the team for 1/2 a season. He knows the offensive system and has no doubt kept in shape. The biggest issue will be lack of time to develop chemistry with his receivers.
Thoughts?
IMO He will play. If Nathan Rourke can play on 3 days practice after being away over a year and a half so can Kelly. He knows playbook and should be in physical shape. Just not game shape.

To me, at the beginning they should keep a similar game plan by running Carey a lot. The difference is that he can stretch the defence which should help In all aspects. The rust if there is any will wear off.

My biggest fear, to be honest, is that Kelly will try to do too much to "prove" himself, for lack of a better word.

Any guesses on what attendance will be on this one?
You've now got the return of Kelly, plus a CNE game, but it is on a Thursday. Talking about it with some of the regulars in my section, we feel that there will be a slight Kelly bump. No matter what the thoughts are on Kelly, I think it would be rather unfortunate to sit and wait for one player to return no matter who the player is, especially since they have been solid without him. But enough of that..
I'm saying between 15-16K.

I think Mike Miller will keep him focused.

Right now, Ticketmaster map shows very few tickets available..... but we all know that means nothing. The map will be different tomorrow, for sure.
Green Riders always draw well, and with CNE admission thrown in, plus the Chad Kelly factor, there should be a good crowd..... I am going to say 18K.

I didn't factor in the Sask faithful. It's been an eternity since they've hosted the Roughriders (in Toronto)!

Remember that 18K is a sold out stadium as configured. I doubt we sell out, but a nice 16K+ crowd would be nice.

It’ll be a great atmosphere at BMO this Thursday.
