Glad the Argos faced Brice last Saturday. Doesn't hurt my feelings to see the Bombers behind "Fake" QB Dru Brown start to slip into mediocrity. Bombers now 1-4 at home.
Remarkable win, given facts above, and the way they played the Argos. Winnipeg needs to figure things out.

Winnipeg is not hard to figure out. They are not a good team. Should have lost to Ottawa, and we shot ourselves in the foot over and over again against them.

The core of that team appears to be old and running on fumes at this point.

I think that's a good part of it; they don't seem to find a lot of new, impact talent on their own. Bringing in a predictable dullard like Condell as OC was dumb; they might be a .500 team if vet QB Collaros stayed healthy and had a good season; but their D is weak and got run all over by a losing BC team with a raw rookie QB.

Oh well, they had quite the run with 5 straight trips to the GC, plus lead the league in attendance now; can't complain too much there I guess, but Walters as GM and even O'Shea at HC - they might need a refresh there, and when they might not make the play-offs this year.

Better find a gas station.

back to the BC Lions, which is supposed to be this topic string.

so Rourke returns, but down to the wire to barely squeak by the Ticats, with Frosty at QB (he played OK for a green QB)
Best case Lions scenario IMO is a West 3rd place spot if, as many here expect, the Bombers implode in the second half of the season.
Possibly 4th place, behind Calgary in 3rd, and Lions get a crossover to East based on W-L records.

Just finished watching the game....so Hamilton has a procedure penalty the 2nd last play of the game. Instead of accepting the penalty, BC allows Hamilton to stay in FG range, which Leggio misses to end the game. Did I miss something there?

Even Buck Pierce was questioning that decision post-game.

I questioned that as well, 100% should have accepted that penalty and moved Hamilton back.
A win is a win but the Lions and Rourke didn’t impress at all.
